The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for the December 2024 session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Candidates who appeared for the examination can access their scorecards on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Over 15 lakh candidates registered for the CTET December exam, which was conducted on December 14 and 15, 2024, in two shifts for Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8).
Steps to Check CTET Results:
1. Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for “CBSE CTET December 2024 Examination.”
3. Enter your roll number and submit.
4. Your result will appear on the screen.
Key Highlights:
The CTET exam was conducted across 136 cities nationwide.
Candidates who pass the exam will receive eligibility certificates, which can be downloaded from DigiLocker and UMANG platforms once they are ready.
There is no limit on the number of attempts for candidates to improve their scores.
The eligibility certificate allows candidates to apply for teaching positions in central government schools such as KVS, NVS, and others.
Exam Statistics:
In the July 2024 session, 1,27,159 candidates qualified for Paper 1, while 2,39,120 cleared Paper 2. A total of 8.3 lakh and 16.9 lakh candidates had registered for these respective papers.
