The post included a series of photos from the intimate ceremony, offering a glimpse of his bride, Himani, who is currently pursuing her studies in the United States. Close family members and friends attended the private event, with one standout moment being a photo of Neeraj’s mother blessing him during a ritual.
Neeraj’s uncle revealed that a reception party is also planned to celebrate the union.
Upcoming Professional Plans
On the professional front, Chopra is set to organize India’s first Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition, which has received endorsements from World Athletics and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). While the event date is yet to be finalized, it is expected to take place in May 2025.
This groundbreaking competition will feature some of the world’s top javelin throwers, with Neeraj himself headlining the event. Speaking about this initiative, Chopra said, “It has been a longstanding dream of mine to organize and bring a world-class javelin competition to India. With the help of JSW Sports and the Athletics Federation of India, we are making this happen. I am excited to see how big we can make this.”
Chopra aims to establish the event as an annual fixture in the global athletics calendar, with plans to expand it to include more track and field disciplines in the future.
