The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has organized a cutting-edge digital exhibition at the Triveni Marg exhibition area in Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh 2025. This innovative initiative showcases the government’s commitment to socio-economic development through welfare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat and transformative programs for women empowerment.
Focus on Women Empowerment
The exhibition reflects the principle, “Women Empowerment is Nation’s Upliftment,” and provides an engaging overview of policies aimed at uplifting women across the country. Key initiatives include:

- Self-Reliance through SHGs: Over 10 crore women have become self-reliant through self-help groups, with 1 crore women achieving the status of Lakhpati Didis (earning ₹1 lakh annually). The government aims to double this number to 2 crore.
- Nari Samman Initiative: Homes built under the PM Awas Yojana are registered in women’s names, promoting gender equity in property ownership.
- Namo Drone Didi Scheme: Empowers women by equipping 1,000 self-help group members with drones, enhancing their self-sufficiency.
Additionally, more than 4 crore Sukanya Samriddhi accounts have been opened, with deposits totaling ₹2.6 lakh crore, securing a bright future for young girls.
Ayushman Bharat: Revolutionizing Healthcare
The exhibition also emphasizes the impact of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme:
