PM’s Visit to Odisha
At 11 AM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar. This flagship global investment summit, hosted by the Odisha government, aims to position the state as a leading investment destination and industrial hub under the Purvodaya vision.
The two-day conclave (January 28-29) will serve as a platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore Odisha’s industrial potential. The event will feature:

- Sectoral Sessions
- B2B Meetings
- Policy Discussions
Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Make in Odisha Exhibition, showcasing the state’s progress in building a vibrant industrial ecosystem.
PM’s Visit to Uttarakhand
At 6 PM, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games in Dehradun. Hosted during Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, the games will run from January 28 to February 14 across 11 cities in 8 districts.
Key Highlights of the National Games:
- Participation of 36 states and one union territory
- Competitions in 35 sports disciplines, including medals for 33 sports and two exhibition sports: Yoga and Mallakhamb (making their debut in the games)
- Over 10,000 athletes from across India
- Focus on sustainability with the theme: “Green Games”
A unique feature of the event is the creation of a Sports Forest near the venue, where athletes and guests will plant over 10,000 saplings. The medals and certificates will also be crafted from environmentally friendly and biodegradable materials.
