Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris on Monday for a significant diplomatic visit, where he will co-chair the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron. This high-profile summit underscores India’s growing role in the global discourse on artificial intelligence, an area of increasing importance for economic and technological advancements.
Before his departure, PM Modi took to social media to express his enthusiasm for the visit, emphasizing the deepening ties between India and France. “Over the next few days, I will be in France and the USA to take part in various programmes. In France, I will be taking part in the AI Action Summit, where India is the co-chair. I will be holding talks with President @EmmanuelMacron towards strengthening India-France relations. Following his engagements in France, PM Modi will travel to the United States for a two-day visit beginning February 12. His itinerary includes discussions with US President Donald Trump, marking their first meeting since Trump’s second term began. The visit is expected to focus on strategic bilateral cooperation, trade, and defense partnerships, further solidifying India’s ties with the US.
As Modi embarks on these diplomatic visits, the focus remains on strengthening India’s global partnerships, fostering economic collaborations, and advancing technological discussions, particularly in artificial intelligence.
