To aid those impacted by the accident, the Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia compensation from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). A financial assistance of ₹2 lakh will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased, while ₹50,000 will be given to those who sustained injuries.
Through a post shared by the Prime Minister’s Office on social media, he also noted that the local administration is actively engaged in providing help and support to the victims and their families.
