HCL Technologies’ board has announced an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25, according to a filing with the BSE on Monday, October 14. This declaration coincided with the company’s release of its second-quarter results for the July-September period.
The record date for the dividend has been set for Tuesday, October 22, with payments scheduled for October 30. HCL Tech shares rose by 0.89% to close at ₹1,856 after the trading session.
In its Q2 results, HCL Tech reported a 10.5% increase in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹4,235 crore compared to ₹3,832 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s revenue from operations also grew by 8.2%, amounting to ₹28,862 crore. Additionally, the company’s attrition rate decreased to 12.9%, down from 14.2% the previous year.
Expenses for the quarter rose by 7.85% to ₹23,631 crore, reflecting the company’s growth and operational costs.
