Indian and Chinese troops have initiated coordinated patrols in the Demchok region of Eastern Ladakh, according to Army sources on Friday, November 1, 2024. Patrolling in Depsang is also expected to start shortly, as confirmed by officials.
This development follows a recent disengagement process completed in both regions on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of the withdrawal from all points of friction that have been sources of tension since the stand-off began in May 2020.
