The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) successfully wrapped up Special Campaign 4.0, focused on clearing pending matters and promoting cleanliness. Running from October 2 to October 31, 2024, the campaign achieved 100% completion in resolving Public Grievances (986), Public Grievance Appeals (211), Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) references, and reviewing 25,635 physical and electronic records. The Ministry also addressed 95% of pending MP references, clearing 555 out of 583 cases, and resolved 28 out of 53 Parliamentary Assurances.
Through cleanup activities held across 19,000 sites, including offices, highway stretches, toll plazas, and roadside facilities, the Ministry raised ₹3,03,200 from scrap disposal. MoRTH, NHAI, and NHIDCL officials actively participated in the initiative, and progress was reviewed daily by MoRTH’s Nodal Officer. Public outreach was amplified via social media platforms such as X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook to promote the campaign’s impact.
