On December 12, 2023, Bhajanlal Sharma was appointed as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sharma, who is the MLA from the Sanganer Assembly constituency in Jaipur, is also the party’s National General Secretary.
