The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for candidates who passed the written exam for Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023 will be held from December 9, 2023, to March 10, 2025. A total of 1,07,079 candidates—including 67,518 men, 39,550 women, and 11 transgender individuals—have successfully cleared the written exam, as announced by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) on Thursday.
The written exam, held in six phases from August 7 to 28, was conducted for 21,391 posts. Among the selected candidates are 485 home guards and 433 dependents of freedom fighters.
Jitendra Kumar, ADG-cum-chairman of CSBC, shared that a total of 11,95,101 candidates appeared for the written exam, out of which 511 were disqualified for malpractice or incorrect roll number marking.
He added Candidates up to five times the number of vacancies in each reservation category have been selected for the PET. The test will take place at Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh Government High School (Patna High School) in Gardanibagh, starting from 7 AM every day. On exam day, candidates’ documents will also be verified, so no extra time will be given for this.
Candidates must download their admit cards from the official CSBC website before the PET.
