Underground Section: For the first time, Namo Bharat trains will operate in a 6-km underground section within Delhi, including the crucial Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar stations.
This inauguration follows the earlier launch of the 17-km priority section between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot on October 20, 2024.
A Major Leap in Connectivity

This state-of-the-art transit system not only improves regional connectivity but also integrates with the Delhi Metro, enhancing the commuting experience for millions of passengers.
This development represents a significant milestone in India’s infrastructure growth, providing a transformative solution to ease travel and boost economic activity in the region.
