Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu met Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi to discuss the challenges faced by red chili farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture were also present during the discussion.
Following the meeting, Shri Rammohan Naidu addressed the media, highlighting that the Andhra Pradesh government is planning to procure red chilies to support farmers. He urged the Union Agriculture Minister to extend financial assistance to the state under various schemes. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan responded positively to the request, showing a willingness to explore possible solutions.
Shri Rammohan Naidu also conveyed a letter from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu, detailing the difficulties encountered by red chili farmers. The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of farmers and ensuring their well-being through collaborative efforts.
