Ayush Ministry Holds Karmayogi Training to Empower Staff

RR Team, April 16, 2025June 7, 2025

The Ministry of Ayush organized a dynamic training session today under the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme at Ayush Bhawan. This initiative, aligned with Mission Karmayogi, aims to empower employees and improve public service delivery.

The event was conducted in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission, reflecting a strong government commitment to building a responsive and service-driven workforce.

Second Phase of Training Launched

This session marked the second phase of the programme.
The first phase was held on March 18, inaugurated by Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha.

Back then, Kotecha emphasized the importance of a skilled, efficient, and responsive workforce.
He encouraged employees to use the training insights in real-life roles for better service delivery.

Human-Centered and Interactive Approach

The latest session moved away from traditional lectures.
Instead, it adopted a human-centered, interactive format.
Dr. Subodh Kumar led the programme, while Ms. Shipra Singh facilitated the session.

Participants joined in group activities, discussions, and problem-solving exercises.
The goal was to help employees reflect on their daily roles and their impact on citizens.

Key Themes Covered

The session focused on four major areas:

  • Self-awareness

  • Motivation

  • Leadership

  • Empathy in service

Trainers used real-life case studies from the Ministry’s work in Ayurveda, Yoga, and other traditional systems.
These examples helped ground the concepts in real experiences.

Staff Engagement Highlighted

The most striking part was the active participation from the Ministry’s staff.
Employees showed enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose.

This session proved that government training can be both meaningful and transformative.
It focused not just on skills, but also on values like compassion, empathy, and awareness.

A Glimpse of the Future

The Ministry of Ayush continues to invest in its people.
Programmes like Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva are helping shape a future where:

  • Public servants are more empathetic

  • Workforces are more motivated

  • Service delivery is more human-focused

Such initiatives remind us that good governance starts with good people.
