In a step forward towards inclusive and quality education, the Ministry of Defence has opened the online portal for the fourth round of registration of new Sainik Schools under the partnership model. The registration window, open from May 15 to June 14, 2025, invites applications from eligible schools, NGOs, trusts, and private educational institutions who aspire to contribute to this noble initiative. Interested institutions can register through the official website: https://sainikschoolsociety.in.

This initiative is a part of the Government of India’s broader vision to establish 100 new Sainik Schools across the country in collaboration with State Governments, NGOs, and the private sector. It reflects a heartfelt commitment to not just expand access to quality education aligned with the National Education Policy, but also to nurture a generation equipped with discipline, leadership, and a sense of service—core values of the Sainik School model.
So far, 86 schools under various managements have already been approved under this partnership initiative, signaling a strong and positive response from stakeholders across the country. These newly established schools will maintain their existing Board affiliations while also adopting the Sainik School Society’s academic-plus curriculum. This blended approach ensures that students not only receive a strong foundation in academics but also benefit from holistic development inspired by the ethos of the Armed Forces.
This collaborative model offers a meaningful opportunity for institutions to join hands with the Central Government in the shared mission of nation-building. As the registration window opens once again, it brings with it hope and purpose—an invitation to shape the future of India’s youth through dedication, discipline, and quality education.
