On 20th June 2025, LB Stadium in Hyderabad turned into a sea of yoga mats and movement. Over 35,000 people joined the massive session. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy led the event. The Indian Army, Central Government staff, students, yoga organizations, and citizens actively participated.
This event became the centerpiece of the Ministry’s yoga campaign. It echoed the Government’s commitment to wellness in governance.
🏞️ 6-Day Boot Camp: Yoga Reaches the Mines
Between 14–20 June 2025, the Ministry hosted a Yoga Boot Camp across its offices and CPSEs — including NALCO, HCL, MECL, IBM, GSI, JNARDDC, and NIRM. Over 20,000 participants joined the sessions. Activities included yoga practices, wellness talks, and Y-Break demos — even in underground mines.
Ministry officials, mine workers, school students, women employees, and locals were part of this inclusive initiative. The program ensured everyone could take part — regardless of age, role, or location.
🧘♀️ 21st June Celebration at Vinay Marg, Delhi
The official Ministry celebration will take place on 21st June 2025 at Vinay Marg, New Delhi, starting at 7:00 AM. Secretary V.L. Kantha Rao will lead the session. Around 300 participants, including staff and their families, are expected to attend.
Simultaneously, yoga sessions will happen at more than 81 locations across India — covering geo-heritage sites, mine areas, and corporate hubs.
