Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 19,100 crore in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district. On this occasion, he also indicated his strategy for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
Lok Sabha Election 2024 news: Modi said his government aims to provide every Indian access to the benefits of development. He said his government has streamlined the Centre’s welfare schemes and made them more effective.
Modi said, “When government schemes achieve saturation…when 100% beneficiaries are covered…that is true secularism…that is true social justice.”
He said that in Uttar Pradesh, his government has paid special attention to the development of infrastructure. He said that the projects started in Bulandshahr will give impetus to the development of the area.
Modi said that the construction of Ayodhya Ram mandir is a historic event for India. He said that this temple is a symbol of India’s culture and civilization.
“The time has come to take ‘Nation Prestige’ to new heights to make India a developed nation by 2047,” Modi said.
Development projects include:
- A new industrial township in Greater Noida
- A medical college in Bulandshahr
- Bulandshahr-Dadri-Chipiyana senior railway line
- Bulandshahr-Mathura Railway Line
- Widening of Bulandshahr-Aligarh Road
- A new drinking water project in Bulandshahr
- A new bus terminal in Bulandshahr
