Empowering Northeast India Through Digital Skills
The National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) is transforming lives in the Northeast with a new free 8-month residential training program in 3D Animation and Visual Effects (VFX). This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and provide career-ready skills to 100 deserving youth from the eight North Eastern states of India.
Program Overview: High-End Training at Zero Cost
The fully-funded training is open to individuals from Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. Applicants must be 18 years or older as of June 2025. The minimum qualification required is 10+2 or 10th with 3 years of relevant work experience.
The program is designed to give participants industry-level training through two phases: six months of classroom instruction in 3D Animation and VFX, followed by two months of on-the-job training with real industry exposure. The program is being conducted in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with Aptech Ltd.

Interested candidates must register online by visiting the official NFDC skill portal. A nominal registration fee of ₹1,180 (inclusive of taxes) is applicable. The last date to apply is 15th August 2025.
