Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Hits 50+ Campuses Nationwide

RR Team, September 29, 2025September 29, 2025
The Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect initiative has reached a major milestone, successfully conducting sessions at over 55 out of 75 designated universities across India since 17th September 2025. Organised under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, this programme is part of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Seva Pakhwada Edition, celebrating the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Running from 17th September to 2nd October 2025, the programme spans 75 universities selected for their connection to the Prime Minister’s life and achievements. A diverse mix of rural, urban, and tribal institutions ensures broad and inclusive participation.

Empowering Youth Through Interactive Sessions

Each campus session is led by one of 75 Youth Icons, including state champions of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) 2025, winners of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament, National Service Scheme (NSS) awardees, and National Youth Award recipients. These leaders deliver presentations highlighting India’s growth story over the past 11 years under PM Modi’s leadership, while also showcasing the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The “Yuva Samvad” interactive sessions encourage students aged 15–25 years to raise questions, share ideas, and engage with policymakers and youth leaders directly. This engagement aims to inspire participants to contribute actively to India’s development and a self-reliant future.

Institutions Across India Join the Initiative

Prominent universities hosting sessions include Birsa Munda Tribal University in Gujarat, Swami Vivekananda University in West Bengal, Indian Maritime University in Tamil Nadu, Dhanamanjuri University in Manipur, Government Degree College in Kargil, Ladakh, and Sophia Girls College in Ajmer, Rajasthan, among others. Each location is carefully chosen to represent the country’s rich educational and cultural diversity.

The initiative not only connects youth to India’s developmental roadmap but also emphasizes the transformative impact of leadership and governance on national progress.

Vision for a Developed India by 2047

Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect aims to create a generation of informed and motivated youth, familiar with India’s achievements and challenges. By linking educational institutions to the broader narrative of national development, the programme empowers young citizens to participate actively in shaping India’s future.
