A major infrastructure milestone was marked with the inauguration of the AURIC–Samruddhi Connector, enhancing connectivity to the Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai–Nagpur Expressway). This strategic link improves access to Mumbai, Nagpur, and JNPT Port, reducing transportation time and costs while boosting the ease of doing business for industries in AURIC.
Six Years of Industrial Growth
Over the past six years, AURIC has emerged as a model of industrial transformation. The city has allotted 327 plots across 3,039 acres of industrial land and 137 acres of mixed-use land, attracting projects with investment potential exceeding ₹72,036 crore and the capacity to generate over 63,700 jobs. Currently, 78 units are operational, 70+ factories are under construction, and 182+ are preparing to begin construction.
World-Class Infrastructure and Ready-to-Use Facilities
AURIC offers plug-and-play infrastructure at the plot level, with wide roads, reliable power and water supply, and advanced sewage and waste treatment systems. This ensures industries can set up operations quickly and efficiently, reducing both cost and time.
Investor-Friendly Environment
MITL’s efforts benefit both MSMEs and global investors. By providing fully developed plots and a seamless operational ecosystem, small businesses can focus on production and exports. Major investors like Ather Energy, Lubrizol, Toyota Kirloskar, and JSW Green Mobility have committed large parcels of land in the Bidkin Industrial Area, promising over ₹56,200 crore in investments and 35,000+ jobs.
Vision for Viksit Bharat@2047
Industries Minister Shri Uday Samant highlighted AURIC’s pivotal role in Maharashtra’s industrial growth and contribution to the national goal of Viksit Bharat@2047. He emphasized AURIC’s potential to attract massive investments, become a global manufacturing destination, and align with the ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ vision. Plans to acquire more land for expansion were also announced, ensuring farmers’ livelihoods are protected.
