APEDA Pavilion Highlights India’s Agri-Food Diversity
With 142 exhibitors across 120 stalls, APEDA’s pavilion featured a wide array of products, including GI-tagged items, Basmati rice, millets, organic produce, livestock products, and value-added foods. The pavilion was divided into thematic zones such as the GI Gallery, Fresca Zone, Basmati Export Development Foundation stall, and BHARTI Zone, which focused on startups and technological innovations.
Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet Connects Global Trade Partners
As part of its role as Export Partner, APEDA organized the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM), which attracted over 530 international buyers from 68 countries. Leading supermarket chains like Walmart, Nesto, Al Madina, Mustafa Singapore, and Choithram participated. More than 4,654 curated B2B meetings were held, giving Indian exporters and startups a platform to explore new markets and forge long-term partnerships.
Strategic Collaboration with LuLu Hypermarket
APEDA further enhanced market access by signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LuLu Hypermarket LLC on September 25, 2025. This collaboration, under the BHARTI Initiative, will provide Indian agri-food startups shelf space across 252 LuLu outlets in the GCC, along with product sampling campaigns, consumer engagement, and global export support.
Empowering Startups through BHARTI Initiative
The BHARTI Initiative featured a dedicated stall and an interactive seminar titled “From Farm to Global Markets: Startup-Driven Innovation for Agri-Food Exports.” The session brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss strategies for empowering 100 agri-food ventures through mentorship, branding, technology adoption, and market intelligence.

Speaking at the event, APEDA Chairman Shri Abhishek Dev said, “World Food India 2025 is a milestone in showcasing India’s agri-food potential globally. By connecting over 140 exhibitors and 500 buyers from 68 countries, and through initiatives like RBSM and BHARTI, we are building a future-ready, innovation-driven export ecosystem.”
