When will the 21st instalment be released?
There is no official government notification yet with an exact date for the 21st instalment. However:
- Reports suggest the payment will arrive in the first week of November 2025.
- Earlier expectations had indicated an October release but delays and verifications have pushed it later.
- Some regions have already received the instalment ahead of others e.g., flood- and landslide-affected farmers in certain states.
Therefore, eligible farmers are advised to keep monitoring the official portal and their bank accounts for the credit.
✅ Who is eligible?
The key eligibility criteria for PM Kisan include:
- Indian citizen owning cultivable land.
- Small or marginal farmer family (land-holding as defined by State/UT).
- No pension of ₹10,000 monthly or more for the farmer / spouse.
- Not an institutional land-holder or taxpayer for the previous assessment year.
All farmers whose details are valid and verified on the scheme portal remain eligible for the instalment.

ℹ️ Important tips and alerts
To avoid missing out on the installment, be sure to:
- Complete your Aadhaar-bank linking and ensure the IFSC, account number and name match exactly.
- Verify your land ownership records and registration under the scheme. Discrepancies may delay or block payments.
- Note that the scheme payment during the period of the Model Code of Conduct (for elections) is allowed because this is an existing approved benefit. 19
- If you are in a state affected by floods, landslides or other calamities, you may receive the instalment earlier or in a special batch.
