PM Modi to Attend International Aryan Summit 2025 in Delhi

RR Team, October 30, 2025October 30, 2025
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the International Aryan Summit 2025 at Rohini, New Delhi, on October 31. The event forms part of the ongoing Jyāna Jyoti Festival, which commemorates the 200th birth anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Ji and celebrates 150 years of Arya Samaj’s service to society. The Prime Minister is expected to address delegates and scholars from India and abroad during the event.

Celebrating Maharshi Dayanand’s Vision and Arya Samaj’s Legacy

The International Aryan Summit 2025 will bring together representatives from Arya Samaj units across the world, showcasing the organisation’s enduring influence on education, reform, and spiritual awakening. The Summit aims to honour Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s reformist ideals and his profound contribution to social empowerment and the propagation of Vedic wisdom.

An exhibition titled “150 Golden Years of Service” will be a major attraction, featuring Arya Samaj’s transformative journey through its educational, social, and humanitarian contributions. The exhibition will highlight milestones such as the establishment of Gurukuls, women’s education initiatives, and campaigns against social evils.

Global Participation and Cultural Exchange

The Summit is expected to host delegates from various Arya Samaj chapters across India, North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, reaffirming the organisation’s global presence and influence. The event seeks to promote dialogue among scholars and community leaders on how Arya Samaj’s philosophy of truth, reform, and self-reliance continues to resonate in the 21st century.

Participants will engage in sessions focused on education reform, women empowerment, spiritual leadership, and Vedic research. The aim is to bridge traditional Vedic knowledge with modern values in alignment with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

PM Modi’s Vision for Vedic Knowledge and National Development

Prime Minister Modi’s participation reflects his government’s emphasis on India’s cultural renaissance and revival of Vedic values. Under the Viksit Bharat 2047 initiative, efforts are being made to integrate traditional wisdom with scientific and educational progress. The International Aryan Summit will serve as a symbolic platform for showcasing how spiritual heritage can guide modern governance and social harmony.

In previous addresses, PM Modi has highlighted the teachings of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati as being deeply aligned with India’s journey of self-reliance (Atmanirbharta) and social equality. The Summit is expected to reinforce these themes through discussions and cultural showcases.

Arya Samaj: 150 Years of Service and Reform

Founded in 1875, Arya Samaj has played a pivotal role in promoting education, gender equality, and social reform in India. The movement’s principles truth, discipline, and service  have influenced generations and continue to shape social thought and community development initiatives worldwide.

From establishing schools and colleges to advocating for women’s rights and opposing caste-based discrimination, Arya Samaj’s contributions remain central to India’s socio-cultural transformation. The Summit’s theme reflects this continuing relevance, urging a collective commitment to the ideals of reform and renewal.

Jyāna Jyoti Festival: A Spiritual and Cultural Celebration

The Jyāna Jyoti Festival, of which the Summit is a key part, is a multi-day celebration highlighting the life, teachings, and philosophy of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati Ji. The festival includes cultural performances, exhibitions, and interactive discussions on India’s Vedic heritage. It aims to inspire youth participation in social service, environmental awareness, and moral education.

According to organisers, the festival represents a call to revive the spirit of truth, rationalism, and self-reliance espoused by Maharshi Dayanand, connecting India’s ancient wisdom with its modern aspirations.

Linking Heritage with Vision: Toward Viksit Bharat 2047

The International Aryan Summit 2025 not only celebrates India’s reformist heritage but also underscores its contemporary relevance in nation-building. As the country prepares for 2047 marking 100 years of Independence  such events serve as reminders that the vision of a Viksit Bharat is deeply rooted in India’s moral and spiritual traditions.

By honouring Maharshi Dayanand’s legacy and Arya Samaj’s social contributions, the Summit reinforces the message that development and dharma can go hand in hand, building a future grounded in knowledge, equality, and service.
