New Dates to Be Announced
In an official circular addressed to CBSE-affiliated school principals in the region, the board clarified that exams slated for March 2 will not be conducted. The new schedule for these examinations will be shared at a later date. CBSE will review the situation on March 3, 2026, to determine the status of exams scheduled from March 5 onwards.

Students have been advised to maintain regular communication with their respective schools for updated information. Schools will relay instructions from CBSE as they are received. The board has also urged students and parents to follow official announcements and avoid unverified sources to prevent confusion.
Impact of Regional Unrest
The postponement is directly linked to security concerns stemming from the current conflict in parts of the Middle East, which have disrupted travel and normal academic schedules. CBSE officials emphasized that students in the affected regions should remain calm and await official notifications regarding revised exam dates.
