New Delhi, The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced on Sunday that the weather forecast for the upcoming fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections is devoid of any anticipated heat wave-like conditions. This assurance extends to the 96 Lok Sabha constituencies spread across 10 States and Union Territories slated for polling on Monday.
Alongside this weather update, significant political figures are poised to engage in the electoral process. Noteworthy contenders include Union Ministers Giriraj Singh (Begusarai, Bihar), Nityanand Rai (Ujiarpur, Bihar), Arjun Munda (Khunti, Jharkhand), and Ajay Mishra Teni (Kheri, Uttar Pradesh). Additionally, prominent opposition leaders such as five-time Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury (Baharampur, West Bengal), Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav (Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh), and All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi (Hyderabad, Telangana) are also participating in the electoral fray.
Furthermore, it’s worth noting that Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will simultaneously conduct elections for their State Assemblies, adding to the significance of the electoral proceedings on this crucial day.
