In a significant move to aid the transition to the new legal framework, the Director General (DG) of the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Shri Manoj Yadava, unveiled comprehensive handbooks on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), 2023, in New Delhi today.
These handbooks are designed to be vital resources for RPF personnel, providing clear guidance on legal processes under the newly enacted laws. They aim to equip RPF officers with the necessary knowledge to transition from the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Indian Evidence Act (IEA) to the new acts. With detailed explanations and practical instructions, these handbooks will help ensure that the RPF continues to uphold justice and maintain law and order effectively.
DG RPF Shri Manoj Yadava emphasized the importance of these handbooks, calling them a significant milestone in enhancing the legal expertise of RPF personnel. He highlighted that the handbooks would streamline legal processes within the Force, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to the new laws. This initiative reinforces the RPF’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and delivering justice.
In addition to the printed handbooks, E-Flipbooks of these resources were also released today. These digital versions, along with the Handbook for Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, are available on the JR RPF Academy website.
