Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude for the newly-elected UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s dedication to enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UK.
Prime Minister Modi met with David Lammy, the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi stated:
“It was a pleasure to meet UK Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy. I appreciate Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer’s priority to expand and deepen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. We remain committed to strengthening our ties. I welcome the bilateral Technology Security Initiative and the intention to finalize a mutually beneficial Free Trade Agreement.”
