Minister of State for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, conducted a meeting today with representatives from various renewable industry associations, including the All-Indian Solar Industries Association.
The discussions centered on the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme and other incentives designed to boost Indian manufacturing in the renewable energy sector. Shri Shripad Yesso Naik assured the industry representatives of the MNRE’s full support, underscoring the government’s commitment to accelerating India’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
Secretary of MNRE, Shri Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, was also in attendance. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to fostering growth and innovation within the renewable energy industry.
This meeting marked a significant step in enhancing collaboration between the government and industry stakeholders, aimed at advancing India’s goals in the global renewable energy landscape.
