CBSE Announces CTET July 2024 Results: Check Your Scores and Final Answer Key
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates who took the exam can now check their results on the official CBSE website by entering their login credentials. Along with the results, the final answer key for the exam has also been published.
Previously, CBSE had issued a provisional answer key. In the notification, CBSE mentioned that if any challenge to the provisional answer key is upheld by subject experts, the necessary corrections will be made, and the cost of the challenge will be refunded.
Following the release of the CTET July 2024 results, candidates will receive their mark sheets and eligibility certificates through their DigiLocker accounts. To ensure security, these documents will include an encrypted QR code that can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker app.
To qualify for the exam, candidates need to score 60% or higher, as per NCTE guidelines.
The exam took place on July 7 in two shifts across 136 cities nationwide. CTET 2024 included two papers: Paper 1 for those aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8. Each paper consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions, with one mark awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking.
The CTET 2024 qualification certificates are valid for life for all categories. There is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can make to obtain CTET certification, and qualified candidates can retake the test to improve their scores.
