In the case of the tragic rape and murder of a Kolkata doctor at RG Kar Hospital, the victim’s father has asserted that more than one individual was involved in the brutal crime. he expressed his previous faith in Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee but said he has now lost confidence in her commitment to justice.
The doctor, a postgraduate trainee, was discovered dead in the hospital seminar hall on August 9. After a grueling 36-hour shift, she had sought rest in the seminar room, where she was subsequently raped, tortured, and smothered to death.
