Delhi-based women refugees from Pakistan celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhi to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal today.
In his remarks, Minister Goyal highlighted that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) is aimed at ensuring safety and security for migrants from minority communities in neighboring countries. He praised the strong will of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that it has been instrumental in the successful implementation of the CAA, which has provided respect and safety to the beneficiaries.
Goyal also celebrated the occasion with Sadhvi Rithambara and Brahmakumari sisters, describing this Raksha Bandhan as one of the most meaningful of his life.
