With over three decades of distinguished service, Air Commodore Vijay Rao brings extensive operational, technical, and strategic experience to BRD Palam. Commissioned into the Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) Branch of the Indian Air Force on November 27, 1995, he has built a reputation for leadership in engineering, maintenance, and modernization roles.

Strong Academic and Professional Credentials

An accomplished Electrical Engineer, Air Commodore Vijay Rao also holds an Executive MBA, underlining his expertise in both technical and managerial domains. He is an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence College and the Army War College, institutions known for shaping India’s senior military leadership.
