Alliance Air Launches “Fare Se Fursat” Fixed Airfare Scheme

New Delhi, 14 October 2025: Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, inaugurated Alliance Air’s innovative “Fare Se Fursat” scheme today, a landmark initiative aimed at offering passengers fixed airfares and easing the stress of unpredictable ticket prices. The launch was attended by Secretary, Civil Aviation Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Chairman Alliance Air Shri Amit Kumar, and CEO Shri Rajarshi Sen.

Fixed Fares for Stress-Free Travel

Under the “Fare Se Fursat” scheme, Alliance Air will offer a single, fixed fare that remains constant regardless of the booking date, including last-minute reservations. The pilot phase runs from 13 October to 31 December 2025 on select routes, allowing evaluation of operational feasibility and passenger feedback.

Aligning with PM Modi’s Vision

Speaking at the launch, Minister Rammohan Naidu emphasized that the scheme supports Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of democratizing aviation. He noted that Alliance Air is promoting affordability for middle, lower-middle, and neo-middle-class citizens, aligning with the objectives of the UDAN regional connectivity scheme. The fixed-fare model eliminates the uncertainty associated with dynamic pricing, ensuring cost predictability for travelers.

Passenger-Centric Initiatives in Aviation

The Minister highlighted his commitment to passenger-centric aviation, citing initiatives such as Udan Yatri Cafes that provide tea, coffee, and snacks at affordable prices at airports. He described “Fare Se Fursat” as the next step in making air travel dignified, accessible, and convenient for all Indians.

Strengthening Regional Connectivity

Alliance Air, the backbone of the UDAN scheme, connects Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to the national aviation network. By implementing a fixed fare policy, the airline is encouraging first-time flyers from smaller towns to choose air travel, reinforcing the government’s vision of inclusive and affordable aviation under the “Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik” initiative.
