Role of Swami Akhandanand Ji and Sastu Sahitya Mudranalaya Trust
Shri Shah praised Swami Akhandanand Ji for his efforts in making excellent literature affordable and accessible to the masses. The Sastu Sahitya Mudranalaya Trust has published numerous texts in Gujarati, including the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Yoga Vasishtha, and Kautilya’s Arthashastra. These publications have contributed significantly to the cultural and moral development of Gujarat’s society.

The Home Minister emphasized the profound wisdom of Adi Shankaracharya Ji, noting that his interpretations resolve the philosophical and spiritual questions of his time. By establishing four Mutts, distributing the Vedas and Upanishads, and creating akharas, Shankaracharya Ji ensured the preservation and propagation of Sanatan Dharma.
