Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the AIIMS Trauma Centre in Delhi to meet and express solidarity with the brave security personnel injured during a fierce anti-Naxal operation in the Karegutta Hills, located on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. These personnel were part of a high-intensity operation that resulted in the elimination of 31 Naxalites, marking a major success in India’s ongoing battle against left-wing extremism.
During his visit, the Home Minister personally inquired about the well-being of the injured soldiers and conveyed the deep gratitude and immense pride that the entire nation feels towards their unwavering courage. He lauded their commitment, highlighting that they operated for an extraordinary 21 days straight under challenging terrain and conditions to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Amit Shah stated that the relentless efforts of the security forces are steadily erasing the last remnants of Naxalism from Indian soil. He reassured the wounded personnel that their service and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed, and that the entire country stands firmly behind them.
