Celebrating India’s Scientific Spirit
Chaired by Smt. Alarmelmangai D, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, the event showcased a thematic video and outlined the Ministry’s role at ESTIC 2025. She emphasized that the conclave represents “a celebration of India’s innovation ecosystem and a reflection of how science and technology can co-create a healthier, sustainable future.”
“The Ministry of Ayush is proud to contribute to the thematic area of Health and Medical Technologies, which symbolizes the beautiful convergence of India’s traditional health knowledge and modern science,” she said, adding that the collaboration aims to redefine healthcare through integrative and preventive models.

Ayush Grid: Powering Digital Healthcare Transformation

The Joint Secretary detailed the Ministry’s Ayush Grid initiative, a robust digital infrastructure enhancing access and efficiency across traditional medicine systems. The suite includes platforms like A-HMIS (Ayush Hospital Management Information System), e-LMS (e-Learning Management System), the Yoga Portal, and the Y-Break App for workplace wellness. Tools like e-Aushadhi, Ayush Suraksha, and the NAMASTE Portal focus on quality assurance, research integration, and patient safety.
Ayush’s global initiatives such as the mYoga App (developed with WHO) and Ayush Global Portal further reflect India’s growing leadership in holistic health. New AI-based systems now enable predictive analysis and personalized health insights, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Ayush Innovations at ESTIC 2025
Dr. A. Raghu, Adviser (Ay), said ESTIC 2025 will spotlight India-centric innovations, biomedical technologies, and integrative healthcare solutions. He added, “Our participation reaffirms the Ministry’s dedication to creating an innovation-driven healthcare ecosystem that merges tradition with technology.”
Dr. Srinivas Rao Chinta, Joint Advisor (H), gave an overview of the Ministry’s focus areas under the thematic track of Health & Medical Technologies. The Ayush Pavilion at ESTIC will feature cutting-edge research, digital models, and live demonstrations showcasing the fusion of Ayurveda and biomedical research.
National Collaboration for Health Innovation
The Ministry’s session on Health and Medical Technologies, scheduled for November 4 at Bharat Mandapam, will be co-chaired by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, and Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Secretary, Department of Health Research and DG, ICMR. The session will include a keynote by Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin (Director, ILBS) and contributions from experts like Prof. Gagandeep Kang and Prof. Tanuja Nesari.
ESTIC 2025: Advancing Viksit Bharat Vision
Organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser, ESTIC 2025 aims to foster collaboration among government, academia, industry, and startups.
