STET Certificate issue date
This year, the Bihar STET exam was held from May 18 to May 29 for Paper 1, and from July 11 to July 20 for Paper 2. Paper 1 was conducted for candidates aiming to become secondary-level teachers (Class 9-10), while Paper 2 was for those applying to teach at the higher secondary level (Class 11-12). A total of 3.59 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
Passing Criteria:
General category candidates must secure at least 50% marks to pass the Bihar STET 2024 exam.
SC/ST/PWD candidates and women need a minimum of 40% marks to qualify.
The second phase of the Bihar STET 2024 exam is expected to take place in September. BSEB conducts the Bihar STET to evaluate candidates’ eligibility for teaching positions at secondary and higher secondary levels across the state.
