Dr. Bharti, Director of CARI, inaugurated the celebrations and highlighted the significance of integrating Ayurvedic principles into daily life. Participants took the Ayurveda Pledge, committing to improved personal health and environmental care through Ayurveda.
An Ayurveda Expo ran from 10th September to 23rd October 2025, showcasing educational materials, books, and traditional Ayurvedic products. Lectures by renowned Ayurveda practitioners covered topics including geriatric care, Panchkarma, seasonal diet, mental health, and women’s wellness.
As part of the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan 2025, the institute focused on women’s healthcare. Special outpatient services prioritized female patients, distributing Ayurvedic medicines to improve blood hemoglobin levels, benefiting around 35 women daily. Free Prakriti assessments provided personalized guidance on diet and lifestyle, complemented by distribution of traditional Ayurvedic foods.
Environmental awareness was promoted through plantation drives, distributing 200 Tulsi and Giloy plants to encourage household herbal gardens. Public lectures on post-menopausal care and geriatric health were conducted in Kurukshetra, benefiting elderly women and addressing childhood obesity under Poshan Maah 2025. Free medical camps offered consultations, blood sugar, and hemoglobin testing for local communities.
Active living and youth engagement were emphasized through run-for-Ayurveda events, walkathons, and school competitions. Drawing contests and yoga sessions involved students from MCD Pratibha Co-Ed School and Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No. 2, fostering awareness of Ayurvedic principles, nutrition, and concentration-boosting practices.
An online session on “Role of Ayurveda in Cancer Management and Supportive Care” was delivered by Dr. Sanjay Khedekar of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa, reaching a wider audience. Cleanliness drives in OPDs and Panchakarma sections further highlighted hygiene, sustainability, and community well-being.
Through these initiatives, CARI and CCRAS effectively promoted the holistic benefits of Ayurveda, empowering individuals, supporting women’s health, and fostering environmental responsibility.
