Speaking to cadets and officers, CDS expressed pride in attending the camp for the fourth consecutive year and commended the enthusiasm, discipline, and patriotism of the cadets.

Inspiring Youth for Viksit Bharat

Addressing the cadets, General Chauhan emphasized the importance of choosing the right path early in life, stating, “If you take the right path, you reach the right destination.” Sharing insights from his own career, he encouraged cadets to consider careers in the armed forces and contribute to building a Samridhh, Sashakt, Surakshit Bharat by 2047. “You are the future leaders of Viksit Bharat,” he told the young cadets.

CDS highlighted January as a month of national significance, marked by events including National Youth Day (12 January), Veterans’ Day (14 January), Army Day (15 January), Parakram Diwas (23 January), Republic Day (26 January), and Martyrs’ Day (30 January). He said these occasions celebrate India’s independence, republican values, and the true spirit of nationalism.

Exemplary Cadet Displays and Performances

He commended the cultural show and social awareness initiatives like ‘Flag Area’ for reflecting the energy, diversity, and civic responsibility of the cadets.

He also appreciated the cadets’ technical skills demonstrated during Aero and Naval models briefing and drone displays, highlighting their discipline and technological acumen.

Message of Action and Optimism

Concluding his address, CDS urged the cadets to act promptly, avoid procrastination, and maintain a positive and optimistic outlook in life. He reinforced the role of youth as future leaders and motivated them to carry forward India’s vision of progress and security.
