DAHD Showcases Dairy Innovations at World Food India 2025

The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, concluded a highly engaging showcase at World Food India 2025, held from September 25–28 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The DAHD pavilion brought together 15 startups, displaying innovative livestock-based dairy products and cutting-edge technologies aimed at transforming India’s dairy and livestock sector.

Innovative Pavilion Attracts Entrepreneurs and Visitors

Inaugurated by Minister of State Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel on September 25, the pavilion featured live demonstrations, interactive sessions, and a specially designed “Selfie Point,” which garnered significant public engagement. Visitors explored futuristic technologies, sustainable dairy solutions, and government-supported schemes, highlighting the sector’s growth potential and innovation-led future.

Knowledge Sessions and CEO Roundtable Drive Dialogue

DAHD actively participated in the CEO Roundtable, engaging industry leaders on opportunities and policy support in the livestock and dairy ecosystem. The Department also hosted a Knowledge Session on “Sustainable Livestock Production: Emerging Opportunities in Non-Bovine Sector,” emphasizing sustainable practices and exploring untapped avenues beyond conventional bovine production.

Showcasing Government Schemes and Technological Advancements

The pavilion provided an opportunity for startups, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and international delegates to interact directly with DAHD initiatives. The showcase highlighted government flagship schemes, policy frameworks, and innovative technologies aimed at strengthening the non-bovine sector, enhancing productivity, and ensuring sustainable growth in India’s livestock and dairy sector.
