Empowering Citizens Through Preventive Health
Shri Prataprao Jadhav highlighted that the campaign is more than an assessment tool—it is a national awakening towards preventive health. By encouraging individuals to evaluate their health status, the initiative integrates Ayurveda’s timeless guidance on diet, lifestyle, and balance into daily living in a scientific and accessible manner.
Role of CCRAS and Partner Institutions
The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) will lead the campaign through its network of institutes across India. Ayurveda teaching colleges under the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM), National Ayush Mission partner institutions, and state-level Ayurveda centers will participate to maximize outreach and citizen engagement.
Innovative Assessment Tool
At the core of the campaign is the CCRAS Swasthya Assessment Scale, a validated software tool grounded in classical Ayurvedic principles. This tool allows Ayurvedic physicians to evaluate health parameters through structured questionnaires, enabling citizens to gain actionable insights into their health while adopting preventive lifestyle measures.
Scale and Scope of the Campaign
Expected to become one of the largest preventive health awareness drives in India, the campaign invites participation from institutions, students, physicians, and the general public. By promoting a culture of self-assessment and informed health decisions, the initiative directly contributes to India’s vision of holistic well-being for all.
Advancing India’s Vision of Health and Wellness
Prof. Rabinarayan Acharya, Director General of CCRAS, emphasized that integrating Ayurveda with structured health evaluation will provide valuable insights into public health trends while motivating citizens to adopt simple preventive measures. The campaign aligns with India’s goal of creating a healthier, informed, and resilient population.
