The Digital India Pavilion is a major highlight of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024, held at Bharat Mandapam Complex, New Delhi. Here, visitors can explore various Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) tools that enhance Ease of Living, Ease of Doing Business, and Ease of Governance.
Now in its 43rd edition, IITF runs from November 14 to 27, 2024, with the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047.” The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), has set up the Digital India Pavilion in Hall No. 3. The pavilion showcases key Digital India initiatives, allowing visitors a hands-on experience with technologies driving India’s digital transformation.
Through its exhibits, MeitY aims to share best practices, raise awareness of scalable digital solutions, and provide insight into how Digital India initiatives are empowering the nation. The pavilion highlights three core themes:

Ease of Governance
Six major initiatives are on display: DigiLocker, Entity Locker, UPI, UMANG, ONDC, and BHASHINI.
Key Highlights:
UPI: Through live demonstrations, visitors can learn about the BHIM app and its “UPI Circle” feature, enabling primary users to authorize trusted secondary users to make transactions within set limits. This feature enhances convenience and security in digital payments, showcasing UPI’s role in advancing financial inclusion and supporting a cashless economy.
DigiLocker: Known for simplifying document storage and sharing, DigiLocker reduces the need for physical documents. Demonstrations showcase its features like instant document retrieval, secure sharing, and real-world use cases across various sectors.
Entity Locker: Tailored for organizations, Entity Locker facilitates online document management and sharing. Interactive displays illustrate its compliance benefits and integration with DigiLocker for streamlined document handling.
UMANG: Providing access to over 200 government services, UMANG offers citizens a one-stop platform for various needs. Demonstrations and videos highlight key services, including e-RaktKosh for blood availability searches and Jan Aushadhi Sugam for accessing affordable medicines.
BHASHINI: Breaking language barriers, BHASHINI supports translation in 22 Indian languages with features like TEXT, CONVERSE, VOICE, SCENE, and BROWSE. Launched under the National Language Technology Mission, the app aims to make digital resources accessible in multiple languages.
ONDC: Visitors can explore the Open Network for Digital Commerce, including the DigiHaat Buyer App, which showcases ONDC’s impact on India’s e-commerce landscape. Real-time transaction data and interactive features demonstrate how ONDC is democratizing digital commerce.
The Digital India Pavilion incorporates advanced technologies, interactive displays, and games to engage and educate visitors. During the event’s first week, business and trade visitors, including CEOs, industry leaders, and international delegates, are welcomed. The second week opens to the general public.
The pavilion embodies India’s journey toward a digitally empowered society, with DPI initiatives supporting inclusive growth and making digital access available to all.
