Diwali 2025 Gift: FASTag Annual Pass for Hassle-Free Travel

RR Team, October 19, 2025October 19, 2025
New Delhi, 19 October 2025 – This Diwali, travelers can gift convenience and comfort with the FASTag Annual Pass, enabling yearlong seamless travel across India’s National Highways and Expressways. Designed for hassle-free journeys, the annual pass is accessible through the Rajmargyatra app, allowing users to add the vehicle number and contact details of the recipient for easy activation.
Once added, the pass is activated after a simple OTP verification on the FASTag linked to the vehicle. It eliminates the need for frequent recharges with a one-time payment of ₹3,000 for one year or coverage of 200 toll plaza crossings. The pass is valid for all non-commercial vehicles with an active FASTag and becomes operational within two hours of activation.

Seamless Travel Across India

The FASTag Annual Pass is applicable on approximately 1,150 toll plazas nationwide, providing an economical and convenient solution for regular highway commuters. Since its launch on 15 August 2025, the annual pass has crossed 25 lakh users, with over 5.67 crore transactions recorded within two months. The rapid adoption reflects the efficiency and smooth travel experience offered to National Highway users.

The Rajmargyatra app simplifies gifting the pass: users can select the ‘Add Pass’ option, enter the recipient’s vehicle number and contact details, complete OTP verification, and activate the pass instantly. This initiative strengthens India’s push for digital payment integration and contactless travel solutions.

Why the Annual Pass is Ideal for Diwali

With the festive season bringing a surge in highway travel, the FASTag Annual Pass ensures uninterrupted journeys without the stress of multiple toll payments. By gifting this pass, family and friends can enjoy long-distance travel with reduced hassle and cost, making it a practical and thoughtful Diwali gift for frequent commuters.

The success of the FASTag Annual Pass demonstrates the growing adoption of digital solutions for transport efficiency in India. It aligns with government efforts to modernize highway infrastructure and promote cashless, fast, and safe travel nationwide.
