Dr. Ambedkar Centre Launches Souvenir Store

The Hon’ble Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, inaugurated the new Souvenir Shop at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC)</strong) in New Delhi. The initiative aims to promote cultural heritage, support artisan communities, and spread the legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

The event began with a floral tribute at the 18-feet statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, sculpted by Ram V. Sutar. Dr. Kumar paid respects to the social reformer, emphasizing equality, justice, and education as pillars of his vision.

Souvenir Shop: A Hub for Culture and Creativity

The Souvenir Shop showcases books, handmade products, and other items inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s life and work. The shop aims to raise awareness of his message of social justice and constitutional values, while also providing employment and opportunities for artisans.
