Final Call for Media Registrations as WAVES 2025 Opens Last Window to Join India’s Creative Revolution

RR Team, April 20, 2025April 20, 2025

In a final gesture to accommodate the enthusiastic response from the media fraternity, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced the reopening of Media Delegate Registrations for the much-anticipated World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. The registration window will now be open for three additional days—April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd—offering a last opportunity for journalists, photographers, content creators, and media professionals to become part of this global celebration of creativity and innovation.

Scheduled to take place in Mumbai from May 1 to 4, WAVES 2025 is not just an event—it is a landmark initiative to showcase India’s growing prominence in the Media & Entertainment sector. The summit is expected to serve as a vital platform for connecting storytellers, broadcasters, filmmakers, digital creators, and industry visionaries from around the world. With an agenda focused on collaboration, innovation, and global exchange, WAVES aims to elevate India’s creative economy and technological capabilities to new heights.

For those who missed the earlier deadline, this extension is a second chance to gain access to exclusive sessions, intimate industry interactions, and networking opportunities that can shape careers and stories. The process is simple but requires a few essentials—government ID, media affiliation proof, a recent photo, and work samples. The opportunity is especially meaningful for freelancers and independent content creators whose voices bring fresh perspectives to the ever-evolving media landscape.

The warmth and inclusivity extended through this reopening speak volumes about the government’s recognition of the role media plays in shaping narratives and informing the world. WAVES 2025 is not just a summit—it’s a movement to propel Indian media onto the global stage, and every delegate is a valued part of that journey.

As the final countdown begins, the Ministry encourages all interested media professionals to take this moment seriously and register before the deadline closes at 11:59 PM on April 23. Those selected will be notified via email and added to an official WhatsApp group for updates and coordination.

WAVES promises to be more than an event—it’s a celebration of ideas, innovation, and imagination. For those ready to tell the story of India’s creative ascent, now is the time to be part of something historic.
