PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026: Showcasing Artisan Excellence
The Ministry of MSME is organizing PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026, an exclusive exhibition under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, from 18th to 31st January 2026. Open daily from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM, the event provides artisans a platform to showcase and market handcrafted products to national and international audiences.
Distinguished guests from Algeria, Belarus, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guyana, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Peru, Somalia, South Africa, Timor-Leste, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela attended the visit, demonstrating India’s global outreach in promoting traditional crafts.
Key Briefings and Ministry Initiatives
Shri Danish Ashraf, Joint Development Commissioner, Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME), delivered the welcome address, highlighting the objectives and significance of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. Senior officials from the Ministry of MSME were present to interact with the dignitaries.
Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME, briefed the visitors on key MSME initiatives, emphasizing the sector’s role in employment generation, inclusive growth, and promoting entrepreneurship. He lauded the dignitaries for their special visit to the Haat, reinforcing India’s global position in artisan excellence.
Cultural Extravaganza from Across India
The event featured vibrant cultural performances from Assam, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Ladakh, creating an immersive experience for the guests while showcasing India’s diverse heritage. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Smt. Anuja Bapat, Deputy Director General, Office of the Development Commissioner (MSME).
National Artisan Participation
PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026 hosts more than 117 artisans from across all States and Union Territories, reflecting India’s pan-national representation of diverse traditional skills. The initiative celebrates and promotes India’s craftsmanship by providing artisans access to international markets and engagement with stakeholders, buyers, and the public.
