Government Warns Public Against Fake Recruitment Scam for Field Assistant Posts

In a concerning development, the Cabinet Secretariat of the Government of India has issued an urgent clarification to dispel a wave of misinformation circulating online regarding a large-scale recruitment drive. A fake advertisement, falsely claiming the recruitment of 1,736 posts for Field Assistant (GD), has been making rounds on various digital platforms, leading to confusion and concern among job seekers.

Adding to the distress, it has come to light that counterfeit admit cards linked to a supposed written examination for these positions are also being circulated, further misleading unsuspecting candidates.

 

The Cabinet Secretariat has firmly stated that no such recruitment advertisement has been issued by the department. In its official communication, it emphasized that the notification is completely fraudulent and has not been authorized or released by any legitimate government body.

 

In light of this, the government is urging citizens, particularly aspiring candidates, to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to such deceptive schemes. It has advised everyone to cross-check any recruitment-related information only through official channels, such as the Cabinet Secretariat’s website or other verified Government of India portals.

 

This incident highlights the importance of staying informed and cautious in an era where misinformation can spread rapidly, especially when it plays on the hopes and aspirations of individuals seeking employment.
