Har Ghar Tiranga 2025: Steps to Join & Get Your Certificate

RR Team, August 13, 2025August 13, 2025
India is set to mark its 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2025, with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign taking center stage. Initiated in 2022 under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, this nationwide drive encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at home and share their pride online.

How to Participate in Har Ghar Tiranga 2025

Participation is simple and open to all. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official campaign website harghartiranga.com.
  2. Fill in your name, contact details, and state.
  3. Hoist the national flag at your home.
  4. Take a photo with the flag and upload it on the website.
  5. Receive a digital “I am a Har Ghar Tiranga Ambassador” badge and participation certificate.

Government & Public Response

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the overwhelming response, calling it a reflection of India’s “deep patriotic spirit” and “unwavering pride in the Tricolour.” In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he urged citizens to continue sharing photos and selfies on the official portal.

Nationwide Celebrations

The campaign runs alongside various events such as Tiranga Cyclothon rallies in multiple cities, cultural performances, and public flag-hoisting ceremonies. Government bodies, educational institutions, and community groups are actively mobilising citizens for participation.

Significance of the Campaign

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is designed to strengthen the bond between citizens and the national flag, turning a symbolic gesture into a collective national movement. It also aims to remind people of the sacrifices made during India’s struggle for independence.

As the country gears up for its 79th Independence Day, the campaign continues to unite citizens in a shared sense of pride, belonging, and respect for the Tricolour.
