If India Works as a Team, No Goal is Unreachable: PM Modi’s Message of Unity and Progress

RR Team, May 24, 2025June 1, 2025

In a heartfelt call for unity and cooperation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog on Saturday, emphasized the transformative power of collective effort between the Centre and the States. Stressing the vision of a developed India by 2047, the Prime Minister said that if the nation functions as a true Team India, no objective is beyond reach.

The meeting, held in New Delhi, marks the first major interaction between the Prime Minister, all State Chief Ministers, and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories since the conclusion of Operation Sindoor. The occasion carried emotional weight as leaders gathered with a renewed sense of responsibility toward building a resilient and inclusive future.

“There is an urgent need to accelerate our pace of development,” Prime Minister Modi said, underscoring that the dream of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ can only be realized when every state contributes and progresses equally. “Viksit Bharat is the goal of every Indian. When every state is developed, then India will be developed. This is the aspiration of our 140 crore citizens,” he added, his words echoing a shared national sentiment.

NITI Aayog, the government’s apex planning body, brings together the Chief Ministers of all States, Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, and several key Union Ministers under one platform. As chairman of the council, Prime Minister Modi used the moment not just to discuss policy, but to inspire collaboration and purpose.

This year’s meeting was themed ‘Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat@2047’, highlighting the interdependence of state and national progress. The message was clear: India’s destiny is not written by one hand alone, but by many working together in harmony.

This council meeting, which has become an annual fixture since its inception in 2015, continues to serve as a reminder of the importance of cooperative federalism. It reflects not only the administrative but also the emotional bond shared among the leadership of a nation striving toward inclusive and sustained development.

The gathering was more than a policy dialogue—it was a call to action. A compassionate, human-centered appeal for unity and determination in building the future that every Indian dreams of.
