India-France CEOs Forum Strengthens Economic and Strategic Ties for a Collaborative Future

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly addressed the 14th India-France CEOs Forum in Paris, bringing together industry leaders from both nations. He spoke about recent reforms, including 100% foreign direct investment in the insurance sector and private sector participation in civil nuclear energy, with a focus on advanced technologies. He also underscored efforts to streamline regulations, citing the rationalization of over 40,000 compliances to foster a more business-friendly environment. Stressing India’s commitment to reform and innovation, he invited French companies to invest in sectors such as defense, energy, infrastructure, and space, positioning India as a key player in global technological advancements.
